The Coffee Buzz is owner-run and specializes in typical African and hearty German cuisine. The Coffee Buzz is a small, intimate restaurant in Kasane, a mere 5 minute walk from the town centre and only a 2 minute walk from the Chobe River and the Kalahari Tours Jetty. Thank you so much for your time taken to comment on your daytrip. The population of Kasane was 7,638 in 2001 census. We are however working closely together and would like to know if you remember the name of the guide that took you on the afternoon activity. Your activities (Boat cruise and game drive) was with Kalahari Tours, once again different owners/ directors. I believe its locally made and a lot of work involved. However I do know that the magnets are super expensive in cost already, sadly.

The Curio Shop is Buzzadi Trading and has a different owner ship, we are renting the room out. I see you gave the service only 2 points, were you dissatisfied with the restaurant service? I'm glad you liked the food apart from too little African food? We tried before to introduce the African food and sadly some of our guests didn't like it, so we decided to serve Beef, Chicken and Vegetarian dishes that any nationality would enjoy. It can become confusing though ) The Coffee Buzz is my business and we are in charge of the food and the drinks served. However you seem to mix up 3 different companies here and value it under one. Upon this experience we would not take this operator for another game park adventure. aha Chobe Marina Lodge, Nandos Kasane, The Old House, Pizza Plus Coffee & Curry, Hunters Pub And Grill, The Coffee Buzz. Coffee Buzz in Kasane is an informal enjoyable cafe offering excellent salads, sandwiches and drinks in a beautiful garden environment complete with. He has also shown a bit of an attitude which made our trip much less pleasant as it could or should be. This small caf-restaurant is delicately held by Bettina who concocts dishes that tastefully merge African and German cuisines, and all this with fresh. Upon several requests to try find big cats for which Chobe is famous for the driver/guide kept ignoring us driving really fast to the exit and by doing so he annulled any chance to actually see big cats. On the afternoon drive to Chobe NP we have had some spectacular views of elephants, giraffe and various antelope species. We would also suggest to owners of the Buzz to try to introduce more local (African) cusine to their menus and definitely to reconcieder the pricing in the souvenir shop since we found the price of 20 USD for a magnet (a beautiful one but still) a total reap off. The food at the Coffee Buzz was tasty and overrall we can recomend the place wich is not the case with the afternoon part (safari) in Chobe NP. The morning cruise on the Chobe river was really nice experience. We stock the necessities and rarities to keep your taste buds tantalized and your collections up to date. Whether you prefer craft beer, unique wine, or the finest coffee, The Buzz has you covered. We selected the medium hot option and it was spot on.We went on a day trip (safari) to Chobe national park and had a lunch at the Coffee Buzz after finishing river cruise part of a day trip to Chobe. Kenosha’s destination for liquid refreshment. Well, was I bowled over! The food was freshly prepared and absolutely scrumptious. To spite the multitude of menu items, we all selected Indian dishes (there are many other types of dishes to choose from as well) and we enjoyed an ice cold beverage whilst waiting for the food order to arrive admittedly there was a bit of nervous tension in the air as none of us knew what to expect. The menu is very comprehensive, well so comprehensive, I am sure Gordon Ramsay would have popped a blood vessel. The restaurant itself is very simple and neat, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the service was excellent.īut wait, the best part is still coming. Always up for some adventure, we paid them a visit. Kasane is remote and rural, just to set the scene. When one of our group suggested PPCC, I was filled with trepidation I mean with a name like this and offering Indian food in Kasane of all places.
